This Warranty and Replacement Policy outlines the coverage provided for our products and the steps to request a replacement for defective or missing parts.
1. Standard Limited Warranty Coverage
Unless otherwise specified on the individual product page, all Vimro structures come with a standard 1-Year Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty from the date of delivery.
This warranty exclusively covers:
- Manufacturer Defects: Structural failures or severe material degradation caused by manufacturing errors.
- Missing Parts: Any hardware, panels, or components missing from the original packaging upon delivery.
- Defective Hardware: Hinges, locks, or framing components that fail under normal, intended use within the warranty period.
2. What is NOT Covered (Exclusions)
To ensure fair use, this warranty does NOT cover damage or failure resulting from the following:
- Improper Assembly: Damage caused by failing to follow the provided assembly instructions or failing to install the structure on a level, appropriate foundation.
- Extreme Weather and Acts of God: Damage caused by severe weather events, including but not limited to heavy snow loads, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, hail, or high winds.
- Modifications: Any unauthorized structural alterations, painting with non-approved chemicals, or modifications made to the product after delivery.
- Normal Wear and Tear: Fading, minor scratches, surface rust, or natural weathering of materials over time.
- Misuse: Using the shed or carport for purposes other than its intended residential storage or sheltering use.
3. How to Request a Warranty Replacement
If you discover a defect or are missing a part, please do not attempt to return the entire structure. We can often resolve the issue much faster by sending replacement parts.
To file a warranty claim, please follow these steps:
- Gather Information: Locate your original order number and the name of the purchaser.
- Document the Issue: Take clear, well-lit photographs or videos showing the defect or the specific area where a part is missing/failing. (If a part is missing, please refer to the part number in your assembly manual).
- Submit Your Claim: Email our support team at support@vimro.store with your order number, a description of the issue, and your attached photos.
4. Resolution Process
Once our team receives your warranty claim, we will review the documentation within 2 to 3 business days.
- If the claim is approved, Virmo LLC will ship the necessary replacement parts to you completely free of charge.
- In the rare event that a structural defect cannot be resolved with replacement parts, we will arrange for a full product exchange.
- We reserve the right to request that defective parts be shipped back to us for inspection before sending replacements. If requested, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label.
5. Arrived Damaged by Carrier
If your order arrives visibly damaged by the freight carrier, please note the damage with the delivery driver on the Bill of Lading (BOL) before signing for it. You must report shipping damage to us at support@vimro.store within 48 hours of delivery so we can file a claim with the carrier and immediately send you replacement parts.
